Jumanu Rai was born on 1 March 1983 in Sarlahi District) and he is a Nepalese Footballer, who currently plays for and his National side Nepal.http://www.premsansar.com


He was introduced to the public in Boys Union in an unsuccessful trial bid. He has also played Association Football for Mahendra Police Club and now so called Nepal Police Club, Machindra FC in the Division League. He was also watched by Maldivian Club Vyansa. He played in Kheladi Cup and he has scored 5 goals. He later went to play for All Youth Linkage of Maldives in the year 2009. Wataniya Dhivehi League 3rd Round. He played half of the season 
scoring 5 goals. Then was back to play for Nepal Police Club. Jumanu is a highest scorer in current National Football Side with 9 goals.Hari Khadka and Nirajan Rayamajhi are the highest scorer for Nepali Side with 13 goals each. Jumanu Rai currently playing with Nepal Police Club as an important striker of the club. He has been one of the promising football player of Nepal and off course a successful one both with regard to national squad and in club career. His national career started when he made a debut match against Bangladesh in AFC Challenge Cup 2006 and since then he has been a goal machine to National team who can’t be stopped from scoring a goal against opponents. His club career is as well successful with Nepal Police Club where he takes number 11 jersey in offence position where he has been a real threat to opponent defense. His vital strength, power and pace has always made the opponent defense shaky.Both in club and national squad, his contribution has been worth remembered. He has been among the most popular player in the country among fans. He has been honored with different prestigious and of national importance awards within the country.
